01.08.2009 UCI World Cup in Bromont (Canada) - XC

Canadian win for candian champion Geoff Kabush. After a quick start of Ralph Naef, Julien Absalon moves to the lead but a mechanical issue prevent him of a new win. He finishes 17th. Geoff Kabush who has followed the move of Absalon wins ahead of Jose Antonio Hermida and Ralph Naef.

Lene Byberg wins the women race. Irina Kalentieva and Catharine Pendrel complete the podium.

01.08.2009 UCI World Cup in Bromont (Canada) - Downhill

Greg Minnaar wins ahead of Fabien Barel and Sam Hill. Sabrina Jonnier, World Cup leader, wins the women downhill. Floriane Pugin is 2nd and Mio Suemasa 3rd.

26.07.2009 UCI World Cup in Mont St Anne (Canada)

An other win for Julien Absalon in this year World Cup in Mont St Anne. The recent french national champion is followed by champions of Spain, Jose Antonio Hermida, and of Canada, Geoff Kabush. In U23, Burry Stander stays unbeatable.

In the Women race, the canadian Catharine Pendrel takes the lead from begin to end. For the second place, Pendrel's teammate Katerina Nash and Irina Kalentieva are switching depending on the part of the loop. And Kalentieva makes the final break with 2 loops left.

17.05.2009 Bundesliga XCO - Race in Heubach - Bike the Rock

On his birhtday, Wolfram Kurschat wins the third round of MTB-Bundesliga in Heubach. Very strong in the climbs, he takes advantage on Julien Absalon in the final lap. Jean-Christophe Peraud takes the third place.

Elisabeth Osl rides alone the complete race and finishes with a 5 minutes gap on Irina Kalentieva and Nathalie Schneitter.

10.05.2009 French Cup in Pernes les Fontaines

First win in French Cup in Elite for Marc Colom. Fabien Canal wins in U23.

In the women race, Sabrina Enaux comes back and wins ahead of Cecile Rode-Ravanel and UCI U23 leader Julie Bresset.

26.04.2009 UCI World Cup in Offenburg (Germany)

Julien Absalon takes a great win this week-end in Offenburg. Wolfram Kurschat is a surprising second at more than 1 minute just ahead from Jean-Christophe Peraud. In U23, Burry Stander takes is second World Cup in a row.

In the Women race, the chinese Chengyuan Ren for her a first appearance of the season comes out of the bunch (she was on the 7th line) to finally take the advantage on Margarita Fullana in the last lap. In U23 Emily Batty wins but Julie Bresset (3rd) keeps the leader jersey.

19.04.2009 Bundesliga XCO - Race in Münsingen

For the second time in the week-end, Team Merida-Multivan takes the three first place of a race: 1.Ralf Naef, 2.Moritz Milatz, 3. Jochen Käß. Julien Absalon, 6th, misses his revenge from Pietermaritzburg World Cup against Jose Antonio Hermida, 5th.

For the women the counters are back to zero after the win of Irina Kalentyeva ahead of Elisabeth Osl and Sabine Spitz.

Three Merida-Multivan racers (Naef, Hermida, Milatz) on the podium of the Men sprint. Swedish Alexandra Engen wins the Women sprint.
